Pay $4.00(or $3.00 if on a concession) at entry each night.

Wear your name badge so you can be addressed by name.

What benefits are there in being a member?

This entitles you to attend any of the subgroups and all club meetings, which offer an amazing amount of expertise and skill challenges.

You can enter competition and participate in club outings and activities.

Access to the Newsletter.

When can I enter competitions?

After becoming a member, you will need to be assessed and placed in a grade.

Bring approx. 10 jpeg images on a memory stick (make sure your name is on the outside of the memory stick).

At the front desk ask for and fill out a grading form, give it to them so you can be accessed and   assigned a grading and number.

You will be emailed your grade and a competition number for club competitions.

Instructions for entering competitions are on the MGPS Website (Member Handbook) and Competitions /Digital entry/How to submit Digital).

When entering digital go to the MGPS Website choose Competitions/submissions.

On the club competition night, you get the opportunity to vote for the best print image of the night, you will be handed a voting slip when you pay your door fee.

You are invited to fill out a judge’s evaluation form from the front desk, please hand it back to someone from the desk.

Supper is supplied by the club; however, we need volunteers to help supply and prepare it.

Please speak to who ever is doing this on the night and let them know if you can help out in the future.

Join the club Facebook page.

There is a hard copy of the Member Handbook available at the front desk, it is advised that you check on the website version for information as it is kept updated with any amendments mad since to book was printed

Clubs don’t run by themselves

If you can help out in any way it is greatly appreciated, when you do it gives you the opportunity to get to know other members and truly become part of a great club.

Take the chance and talk to other members, they may be new or have been a member for a long time, ask for advice, they will freely give it to you or arrange someone for you to talk to.

Remember, if you put a lot into a club you will receive a lot in return.

We welcome you to Mt Gravatt Photographic Society, Information is on our Website.
