Gordon Dixon

Gordon Dixon

Gordon became a member of MGPS in the 1960's. He held many positions in the Club, including two terms as President. One of his most notable contributions was to grow the Club from 17 Members to 37 Mebers through writing articles and advertsing in the local newspaper.

Gordon is an accredited international judge and has received upwards of 700 - 800 local, National and International awards for his photography. He has mentored many new Members through his role in various sub-groups.


Graham Martin

Graham Martin

Graham joined MGPS in 1973. He was twice the President and Vice President and held numerous committee positions.

Graham was consistently awarded top honours in A Grade Prints and Slides. He has received Local, National and International awards. Graham is an accredited Judge and holds AAPS, AFIAP and PSQA awards. Graham is now serving as the CHairperson of the PSQ Judges Executive.


Warren Vievers

Warren Vievers

Warren has been a member of MGPS since 1980. He held the President's and Vice President positions twice as well as serving as Treasurer and Competitions Officer. He is currently co-ordinator of teh Monochrome Group, a position he has held since the 1990's.

Warren has served as President on the PSQ Committee. He holds AIAP, FAPS and SSAPS awards, along with awards for Monochrome Print of the Year.


David Knell

David Knell

David was the most experinced proffessional photographer to join MGPS which he did in 2004. Some years after retiring from 49 years working as a photographic printer and then photographer.

David provided expert guidance to other members, particularly in the print medium. He consistantly won Print of the Month and in 2009 won Monochrome Print of the Year.


John North

John North

John joined the MGPS in 1980 after many years of competitive photography in NSW. At MGPS, he was President, Treasurer, Vice President, Committee Chair organising Judges and selecting images for Club Competitions, Welcomming Officer and started up a AIGE group to help members of MGPS and others to venture into the mysterious world of entering National and Internationals and progressing them to Honours.

He has been an accredited Judge for PSQ since early 1980 and judged for many Clubs over the years. John's personal honours are EFIPS's GPU, CM4, GMAPS, SSPAS and PSQA.
